My work reflects the important role played by the animal and the museum in the development of post-modern art. The animal has frequently been used by artists whose work is aligned with ecology and conservation as a metaphor for the destruction and pollution of our natural surroundings, while the museum has been used to shape political views of the world through the cultural constructs that societies derive from the classification of objects and animals.

By creating numerous exhibits under the banner name The Natural History Project, I have blended traditional museology with digital photography, the Internet, computer modelling and virtual reality, to create a cutting-edge contemporary art experience that brings the traditional artistic roles of the animal and the museum fully up to date
